The UK's leading independent screed testing company.
Screed testing is essential to ensure that moisture levels are low enough for flooring installation, preventing costly failures.
Why Is Screed Testing Important?
High relative humidity (RH) is one of the leading causes of floor failures. When underfloor heating is switched on for the first time, any remaining moisture in the screed will rise to the surface. If the screed isn’t properly dried, this can result in floor lifting, warping, and de-bonding, leading to expensive repairs. Avoid these risks by conducting professional screed testing before installing your floor finish.

What Does ForceDry Test?
At ForceDry, we offer comprehensive screed testing using two advanced methods:
- Surface Screed Test, measures relative humidity (RH) levels from the top of the screed.
- Invasive Screed Test, assesses deep moisture content within the screed while recording the actual screed depth.
We also offer a thermal Imaging Service which maps underfloor heating and central heating pipework to ensure proper installation.
What to do with the results
If the results show the screed is dry ForceDry provide a full report giving the assurance to move forward with a project.
If the results show the screed is wet screed the results will be explained along with a suggested course of action to get things back on track in the quickest possible times.
